This calculation involves the pet's current weight and their Body Condition Score (BCS), an indicator of their physical condition. The app provides detailed instructions on assessing BCS and offers links to external resources for further assistance.
Utilizing the same formulae commonly employed by veterinarians, Hungry Pet offers features such as computing daily caloric needs via the Resting Energy Requirements (RER) formula and determining ideal weight based on BCS and current weight.
